Facility Design Services  has designed over 25,000 car, truck and tractor dealerships in the US, Canada, and Mexico.  Our strength is our ability to quickly and efficiently establish a new Brand Image dealer network in the most cost effective manner.

Many design firms are capable of developing a new image or building design, but the real challenge is successfully adapting a Brand Image to a wide variety of existing buildings, sites, codes and budgets.  We work with manufacturers to develop innovative, unique, but practical facility designs that are easily adapted to existing structures.

Our implementation design process is unique in that our team of dealership design/architects visit each retail or service facility and develop a design on-site with the dealer or general manager over a two day period.  On-site design allows us to verify existing conditions, photograph the facility, determine site, construction and budget constraints and then design to them.  New builds follow a similar process.

Our on-site design process was developed to respond to the dealer's desire to take an active role in the design process while respecting the time constraints involved with running a dynamic business.  Being on-site also allows for direct a connection between our designers and the dealer which helps limit confusion about design expectations.  Once the design direction is confirmed, the drawings and information are sent to our main office where the physical package development can begin.

Another much appreciated Facility Design Services feature is a detailed preliminary construction cost estimate using local labor and material rates.  We know it is essential to the success of a project for the dealer to have an accurate preliminary cost quickly in order to prepare budget requirements.  This cost estimate can also be used as a basis when bidding construction firms.

Instead of emailing a digital design package to the dealer, we hand deliver and present the final design to the dealer and any other project principal providing time to review the design and answer any questions that arise.  However this is not the end of our involvement.  Our designers and project managers are available to answer any questions until construction is complete.

Our on-site design process is a global approach.  Technology and regionally based designers allow us to develop consistent Brand Images any where in the world.  In addition to North America, we have designed facilities in Europe, Korea, Japan, China, and Australia.
